Martin, Commissioner o R D E R WHEREAS Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited ("Princeton Light") applied May 25, 1987 for Commission approval and acceptance for filing of amendments to its Electric Tariff Rate Schedules applicable in its service area; and WHEREAS the amendments are to permit Princeton Light to reflect the effect of a reduction in the cost of power purchased from its supplier, West Kootenay Power and Light Company, Limited ("WKPL") as authorized by Commission Order No. G-14-87 and a concurrent Commission Decision dated April 3, 1987; and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the Application and supporting material and finds that the filing of the amendments to the filed Tariff Rate Schedules are necessary in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited as follows: 1. Princeton Light is to proceed with refunds to its customers of record in the period January 1, 1986 through April 30, 1987. interest calculated at the average prime rate of the principal bank with which Princeton Light conducts its business. 3. Princeton Light is directed to publicize, as soon as possible, in an appropriate manner, the approval of the rate decrease in order that all customers may be made aware.
