("PNG") applied January 13, 1987 pursuant to Section 67(4) of the utilities Commission Act (lithe Act") to amend its Gas Tariff Rate Schedules covering the rates to be charged effective January 1, 1987 for natural gas service rendered by the Company in its service area; and WHEREAS PNG's Application reflects the following which result from Order TGI-59-86 of the National Energy Board ("N.E.B.") to Westcoast Transmission Company, Limited ("Westcoast") effective January 1, 1987: an interim increase in the tolls westcoast collects from its customers, requiring a change in the demand and commodity tolls of the wholesale price of natural gas Westcoast supplies to PNGi and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the Application and supporting material, and finds that the filing of amendments to the filed Tariff Rate Schedules is necessary in the public interest. . .. /2 FOURTH FLOOR, 800 SMITHE STREET. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. as follows: 1. The rates contained in the Gas Tariff Rate Schedules are approved on an interim basis and accepted for filing effective January 1, 1987. 2. An appropriate notice of explanation is to accompany all customer bills containing the new gas rates.
