Hydro") applied November 20, 1986, pursuant to Section 67 of the Utilities Commission Act (lithe Act"), to increase its Gas Tariff Rate Schedules covering rates to be charged for natural gas service rendered by the Company in its Lower Mainland service area effective November l, 1986; and WHEREAS Commission Order No. G-76-86 approved the increase of $0.14/GJ on an interim basis, effective November 1, 1986 subject to refund with interest calculated at the average prime rate; and WHEREAS the Lieutenant Governor in Council issued Order in Council No. 272/&8 ("Special Direction B.C. Hydro No.3") dated July 15, 198& directing the Commission to vary Clause 1 in Commission Order :'\10. G-76-&6 by striking out everything after "November 20, 19&6" and substituting "are approved", and by striking out Clauses 2 to 5. •• • /2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority as follows: 1. Pursuant to Special Direction B.C. Hydro No.3, the interim increase of $O.14/GJ contained in the Gas Tariff Rate Schedules effective November 1, 1986 is confirmed. 2. The Commission will accept, subject to timely filing, Gas Tariff Rate Schedules that embody the increase of $O.14/GJ effecti ve with consumption on and after November I, 1986. 3. An appropriate notice of explanation is to be made confirming the gas rates.
