McIntyre, ) Chairman; ) J.D. V. Newlands, ) Deputy Chairman; ) April 30, 1991 N. Martin, ) Commissioner; and ) W.M. Swanson, Q.C., ) Commissioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. Commission Order No. E-4-91 dated April 10, 1991 approved for BC Gas Inc. ("BC Gas") nineteen long-term natural gas supply contracts for the utility Core Market effective November 1, 1991; and B. Commission Order No. E-5-91 dated April 15, 1991 rescinded the approval of three of these gas supply contracts,namely one for Alberta & Southern Gas Co. Ltd. ("Alberta & Southern") and two for Canadian Hunter Marketing Ltd. ("Canadian Hunter") and directed Commission staff to conduct an investigation; and C. On April 30, 1991 Commission staff provided a report on their investigation to the Commission; and D. The Commission has reviewed the staff report and finds that approval of one of the gas supply contracts for Canadian Hunter is necessary and in the public interest, but that the other contracts require further review by the Commission. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Canadian Hunter gas supply contract dated March 12, 1991 for supply of 200 10 3 m 3 per day from the July Lake sourced gas supply, is approved.
