McIntyre, Chairman; J.D.V. Newlands, Deputy Chairman; and N. Martin, Commissioner CER TIFICA TE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY WHEREAS BC Gas Inc. (''BC Gas") applied June 7, 1990 for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity ("CPCN") pursuant to Sections 51 and 53 of the Utilities Commission Act to construct a propane gas distribution system to supply the City of Revelstoke ("the City") and the surrounding areas; and WHEREAS BC Gas has been awarded financial contributions from the Provincial Government related to this Project; and WHEREAS the Commission has considered the Application of BC Gas and supporting documentation and finds that the project as proposed by BC Gas in its Application is in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders BC Gas as follows: I. BC Gas is granted a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity under Sections 51 and 53 of the Utilities Commission Act for the construction, operation and maintenance of utility plant to enable BC Gas to provide propane gas service to the City of Revelstoke and surrounding populated areas. 2. BC Gas shall file commencement of natural gas service. The reports will provide upda tes to expenditures, customer accounts and any changes to pipe locations or design cri ter ia. A final report is to be submitted to the Commission by BC Gas on December 31, 1990, showing the facilities which have been installed, the costs thereof and the customers being served. 4. BC Gas is to file with the Commission the actual number of customer connections for the next six-year period on an annual basis.
