Mcintyre, ) Chairman; ) J.D.V. Newlands, ) August 16, 1990 Deputy Chairman; and ) N. Martin, ) Com missioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS British Columbia Hydro and Power Au thority ("B.C. Hydro") applied April 17 and July 31, 1990 to amend its Electric Tariff, Terms and Conditions, relating to its Monthly Prepayment on Account Plan ("the Plan"); and WHEREAS Commission Order Nos. G-39-89 and G-64-89 approved the Plan to General Service customers for implementation effective December 29, 1989; and WHEREAS the amendments to the Plan will allow for the phasing-in of the optional aspect of the Plan covered under the title Advance Payment Discount Plan; and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that the amendments are necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders B.C. Hydro as follows: 1. Amendments to Electric Tariff, Terms and Conditions for Monthly Prepayment on Account Plan and Advance Payment Discount Plan are approved, as filed, effective immediately. 2. Appropriate Notices of explanation and promotion of the Plan will be provided to all affected customers.
