IN TIIE MAT IER OF the Utilities Commission Act, S.B.c. 1980, c. 60, as amended and IN TIIE MAT IER OF an Application by The Corporation of the City of Nelson BEFORE: J.D.V. Newlands, ) Deputy Chainnan, and ) June 27, 1991 N. Martin, ) Commissioner ) ORDER WHEREAS: A. The Corporation of the City of Nelson (lithe City") applied on May 31, 1991 for Commission approval of general amendments to the City's Electrical Utility Regulatory By-Law No. 2020,1983, such amendments specified in By-Law No. 2444, 1991 (lithe By-Law") regarding backbilling Terms and Conditions; and B. Amendments specified in the By-Law permit the City to establish a Rate Schedule separate from the flat rates that are currently contained in individual contracts for signal maintenance on telecommunication circuits; and C. Amendments specified in the By-Law revise charges for connection and reconnection, additional meters, temporary drop service, relocation, upgrading and trouble calls; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Application and supporting material and finds that the amendments to the By-Law are in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders as follows: 1. In accordance with Commission Order No. G-24-91, the Commission accepts the backbilling Terms and Conditions as filed. 2. Upon adoption by the Corporation of the City of Nelson, the Commission accepts for filing Electrical Utility By-Law No. 2444, 1991 which incorporates the tariff revisions as cited above.
