Newlands, ) Deputy Chairman ) N. Martin, ) April 30, 1991 Commissioner; and ) W.M. Swanson, Q.c., ) Commissioner ) ORDER WHEREAS: A. On April 29, 1991 Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. ("Centra Gas") filed an application for Commission approval of amendments to its Gas Tariff Rate Schedules in the Nanaimo District to allow for a pass-through of a decrease in propane product costs from its supplier; and B. The amendments provide for a rate decrease of $0.2167 per Ccf effective to all customers in the Nanaimo District effective with consumption on and after May 1, 1991; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and supporting material and is satisfied that the decreases are appropriate and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves and accepts for filing, effective May 1, 1991, amendments to Centra Gas' Gas Tariff rate schedules as follows: Fourth Revision Page 37 - Residential Service Rate Fourth Revision Page 38 - Commercial Service Rate Fifth Revision Page 39 - Special Range Rate 2. An appropriate notice of explanation of the decrease in rates is to accompany all customer bills in the next regular monthly billing for Centra gas customers. 3. Interest is to be charged or credited to Centra Gas' propane price deferral accoun the rate of interest charged by its commercial lending bank.
