On January 4,1991 Vancouver Island Gas Company (ttVigas tt ) filed an application for Commission approval of amendments to its Gas Tariff Rate Schedules at Victoria, B.c., to allow for a pass-through of increased propane product costs from its supplier; and B. The amendments provide for a rate increase of $2.2632 per GJ to all customers effective with consumption on and after January 1, 1991; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and supporting material and is satisfied that the increases are appropriate and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves and accepts for filing, effective February 1, 1991, amendments to Vigas' Gas Tariff rate schedules as follows: First Revision Page 22 - Small General Service Rate First Revision Page 23 - Large General Service Rate First Revision Page 24 - Special Range Rate 2. An appropriate notice of explanation of the increase in rates is to accompany all customer bills in the next regular monthly billing for Vigas customers.
