Martin, ) Commissioner; ) January 17, 1991 W.M. Swanson, Q.C., ) Commissioner ) ORDER WHEREAS: A. On January 8, 1991 Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. ("PNG") filed an Application for Commission approval to accumulate in a deferral account, the changes to gas and commodity charges from its supplier,Westcoast Energy Inco's ("WEI") interim tolls, that may be made on a permanent basis, effective January 1, 1991. B. On December 27, 1990 the National Energy Board advised WEI that a final decision on its tolls would not be made prior to January 1, 1991 and authorized that interim tolls should remain in place, and issued Order No. TGI-5-90; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and is satisfied that the procedure of using a deferral account to account for interim WEI toll charge changes properly conserves the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders PNG as follows: The Commission approves for PNG the use of a deferral account to account for changes in WEI tolls, on an interim basis, effective with consumption on and after January 1, 1991 rl' DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this day of January, 1991.
