BEFORE: J.D.V. Newlands, ) Deputy Chainnan; and ) N. Martin, ) January 17, 1991 Commissioner; and ) W.M. Swanson, Q.C., ) Commissioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. On October 31, 1990 BC Gas Inc. - Inland Division ("BC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval of Gas Tariff Supplement No. 22, Rate Schedule 12, Service Agreement for Lafarge Canada Inc. ("Lafarge fl ), at its cement plant in Kamloops, B.C.; and B. Tariff Supplement No. 22 requires Lafarge to consume, by February 28, 1991, a minimum of 90 percent of the minimum volume commitment contained in the Service Agreement at rates below the standard rates for Rate Schedule 12; and C. On November 29, 1990 BC Gas amended the volume commitments in the Tariff Supplement No. 22, Service Agreement for Lafarge; and D. On January 9, 1991 BC Gas signed a Letter Agreement indicating that the commodity charge for gas service to Lafarge, under the Tariff Supplement No. 22, would be at $1.60 per GJ covering the period December 1, 1990 to February 28, 1991; and E. The Commission has reviewed the Application and amendment and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders as follows: 1. The Commission accepts for filing for BC Gas, Gas Tariff Supplement No. 22, Rate Schedule 12, Service Agreement dated April 1 , 1990 and Letter Agreement dated January 9, 1991 for Lafarge as follows: Third Revision of Sheets No. 22-1 to 22-4, inclusive. Second Revision of Sheets No. 22-5 to 22-11, inclusive. First Revision of Sheets No. 22-12 to 22-14, inclusive. Original Sheets No. 22-15 and 22-16.
