IN THE MA TIER OF the Utilities Commission Act, S.B.C. 1980, c. 60, as amended and IN TIlE MA TIER OF an Application by Squamish Gas Co. Ltd. and Commission Order No. G-33-91 BEFORE: J.G. McIntyre, ) Chairman; ) J.D.V. Newlands, ) June 19, 1991 Deputy Chairman ) N. Martin ) Commissioner; and ) W.M. Swanson, Q.C., ) Commissioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. Commission Order No. G-33-91 approved the Energy Supply Contract between Squamish Gas Co. Ltd. ("Squamish Gas") and Superior Propane Inc. ("Superior Propane") covering the period April 1 to July 31, 1991; and B. On May 24, 1991 Squamish Gas required that the April 1, 1991 Superior Propane liquid propane supply contract be extended to August 31, 1991 or until such time as natural gas becomes available from the Vancouver Island Natural Gas Pipeline; and C. On May 24, 1991 Squamish Gas filed an executed document that requires the April 1, 1991 Superior Propane liquid propane supply contract be extended to March 31, 1992 for the Granisle grid system. D. The Commission has considered the Superior Propane Energy Supply Contracts for liquid propane to the grid systems at Squamish and Granisle, B.C. and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves the April 1, 1991 Energy Supply Contract between Squamish Gas and Superior Propane, for supply of liquid propane to the grid system at Squamish, B.C. covering the period April 1, 1991 to August 31, 1991, or until such time as natural gas become available from the Vancouver Island Natural Gas Pipeline. 2. The Commission approves the April 1, 1991 Energy Supply Contract between Squamish Gas and Superior Propane for supply of liquid propane to the grid system at Granisle, B.C. covering the period April 1, 1991 to March 31, 1992, that will automatically renew for subsequent one-year terms unless cancelled by either party. 2 3. The requirement for Squamish Gas to provide the Commission with a report on monthly propane prices contained in Commission Order No. G-38-88, is no longer required to be filed.
