On November 20, 1991 BC Gas Inc. - Lower Mainland, Inland, Columbia and Fort Nelson Divisions ("BC Gas"), pursuant to Sections 64, 67 and 106 of the Utilities Commission Act, ("the Act tl ) filed a Revenue Requirements Application and applied for an Order granting an interim and permanent rate increase of 3 percent, effective with consumption on and after January 1, 1992; and B. By Order No. G-63-92 dated August 5, 1992, the Commission issued its Decision into BC Gas' November 20, 1991 Revenue Requirements Application; and C. On September 4, 1992, BC Gas applied to the Commission pursuant to Section 114 of the Utilities Commission Act (lithe Act") for a Reconsideration and Variance (tithe Application") of the August 5, 1992 Decision and, pursuant to Section 92 of the Act, for an Extension of Time upon which to file new Gas Tariff Rate Schedules; and D. By Order No. G-84-92, the Commission accepted the BC Gas Application for an Extension of Time upon which to file new Gas Tariff Rate Schedules and set the matter of the Application down for oral argument in a public hearing which was heard in Vancouver, B.C. on October 26, and 27, 1992; and E. The Commission has considered the Application and information filed in the public hearing all as set forth in a Decision issued concurrently with this Order. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. BC Gas will comply with the orders and directions incorporated in the Commission Decision issued concurrently with this Order. 2. BC Gas will refund with interest to the date upon which the refund is made, the interim increase collected in excess of that allowed in the Commission's August 5, 1992 Decision. 3. At the time of refund of the interim increase, BC Gas is to infonn customers, by way of a Customer Notice included with their billing statement, information on the reasons for the delay of the refund.
