McIntyre, ) Chainnan; and ) W.M. Swanson, Q.C., ) July 25, 1991 Commissioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. On April 3, 1991, BC Gas Inc. - Lower Mainland Division ("BC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval of a new Gas Tariff Rate Schedule 2216 which provides a vehicle refuelling service; and B. BC Gas also requested approval of new depreciation rates covering vehicle refuelling appliance compressors and installation costs for these compressors; and C. By a filing dated May 29, 1991, BC Gas provided responses to a number of technical and financial questions concerning the Application; and D. By a further filing dated July 11, 1991, BC Gas amended its Application of April 3, 1991 with respect to the level of minimum monthly charges for Rate Schedule 2216; and E. On July 19, 1991 BC Gas provided a letter addressing residual concerns of the Commission; and F. The Commission has considered the various BC Gas filings on this matter and is satisfied that approval of Rate Schedule 2216 is appropriate. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves and accepts for filing, effective the date of this Order, Gas Tariff Rate Schedule 2216 - General Service - Vehicle Refuelling Service: Original Page C-30 dated July 11, 1991 Original Page C-30.1 dated April 3, 1991 Original Page C-30.2 dated April 3, 1991 Fourth Revision of Page iii dated April 3, 1991. 2. BC Gas is to offer Rate Schedule 2216 for the 12 month demonstration period August 1, 1991 to July 31, 1992 and submit an Application for Commission approval if the service is to be provided beyond this period. Such an Application would provide a detailed assessment of revenues and costs with a view to confinning the appropriate rate beyond the initial 12 month trial period.
