Barr, ) Deputy Chair ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. Order in Council No. 824, 1989 approved the BC Gas Inc. ("BC Gas") Natural Gas for Vehicles ("NGV") Conversion Support Program ("CSP") in its filed gas tariffs to be in effect through to December 31, 1990; and B. Commission Order No. G-114-90 extended the NGV-CSP program from December 31, 1990 to February 28, 1991 and Commission Order No. G-46-91 extended the program and required the utility to file an annual report for each calendar year commencing 1991; and C. On April 16, 1992 BC Gas submitted its 1991 Annual Report for NGV-CSP and on June 18, 1992, July 3, 1992 and September 29, 1992 identified a number of problem areas and proposed several modifications be implemented for Commission approval; and D. The Commission has reviewed the submissions and Annual Report for 1991 and finds that amendments to the BC Gas NGV -CSP are necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders as follows: 1. The July 18, 1992 BC Gas Application, as amended September 29, 1992, is approved at the basic grant level up to a total of $500 inclusive of the Federal grant of $250. 2. The amended CSP is approved for a one year period commencing October 1, 1992 and ending September 30, 1993. 3. The Commission requires BC Gas to provide evidence on the relationship between level of grants and conversion activity prior to considering any further extension or amendments to the CSP. 4. This Order is limited to a consideration of the CSP. Any further grants or incentives such as those discussed for refueling stations will require a separate application by BC Gas. C 1
2 G-93-92 5. BC Gas will advise in writing all affected customers and industry representatives of the approved amendments to the CSP. 6. BC Gas will continue to provide the Commission with an Annual Report on the CSP in accordance with Order No. G-46-91. 1, DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this I tAday of October, 1992.
