Martin, ) July 23, 1992 Commissioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. On July 16, 1992 BC Gas Inc. ("BC Gas") applied for Commission approval of off-system gas sales for the month of July, 1992 to Inland Natural Gas Marketing Ltd. and Grand Valley Gas Co. ("the Application"); and B. The Application will allow for the interruptible purchase of 60,000 MMBtu/day of BC Gas' excess capacity or "valley gas" for the period commencing July 1, 1992, thereby providing a contribution to reduce the costs allocated to core market customers as well as associated load factor benefits to long-tenn gas purchase contracts; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that approval is appropriate and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders BC Gas as follows: 1. The Commission approves the contract with Inland Natural Gas Marketing Ltd. covering the purchase of up to 30,000 MMBtu/day for the month of July, 1992. 2. The Commission approves the contract with Grand Valley Gas Co. covering the purchase of up to 30,000 MMBtu/day for the four month period commencing July 1, 1992. 3. Core market contributions are to be accounted for in the deferral account established by Commission Order No. E-2-92.
