IN TIIE MAT IER OF the Utilities Commission Act. S.B.C. 1980. c. 60, as amended and IN THE MA TIER OF Applications by BC Gas Inc. BEFORE: J.G. McIntyre, ) Chainnan; ) N. Martin. ) February 21, 1992 Commissioner; and ) H.J. Page. ) Commissioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. BC Gas Inc. ("BC Gas") applied on August 8, 1991 for Commission approval of a methodology for the allocation of gas costs to its customer classes, and for the filing of BC Gas Large Volume Gas Tariff Rate Schedules 10 and 13 and corresponding BC Gas Sales Agreements in the Lower Mainland and Inland Divisions effective November 1. 1991; and B. Commission Order No. G-92-91 set the matter down for Public Hearing to commence December 3, 1991. and established an Agenda to deal with various Rate Design and Revenue Requirement Applications anticipated from BC Gas over the next year; and C. On October 15, 1991 BC Gas filed an updated Application and requested the Commission to approve the establishment of deferral accounts to record gas cost changes effective November 1. 1991. D. The Public Hearing into the BC Gas - Gas Cost Allocation, Rate Schedules 10. 13 and related matters. and confidentiality of gas purchase prices. proceeded as Phase A on December 3. 1991 and concluded with Final Argument on January 10. 1992; and E. The Commission has considered the BC Gas Application on Gas Cost Methodology and other infonnation all as set forth in a Decision issued concurrently with this Order. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders BC Gas as follows: 1. BC Gas will comply with the orders and directions incorporated in the Commission Decision issued concurrently with this Order. 2. The Commission will accept. subject to timely filing, amended Gas Tariff Rate Schedules and Tariff Supplements which confonn to the Commission's February 21. 1992 Decision.
