On July 16, 1992, Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited (tfPLPtf) applied to the Commission, pursuant to Section 67(4) of the Utilities Commission Act (tfthe Act tf ), to pass-through an increase in the cost of purchased power from the Company's supplier, West Kootenay Power Ltd. ("WKP"), that was approved by Commission Order No. G-56-92 and a 0.3 percent Corporation Capital Tax effective April 1, 1992 paid by PLP to the Provincial Government, effective with customer consumption on and after July 1, 1992; and B. On June 5, 1992 Royal Assent was given to the Provincial Government tax changes; and C. The total increase required to be passed through to PLP customers is 1.493 percent and is requested to be in accordance with the Third Stage of the Company's Ten Stage Plan approved by Commission Order No. G-27 -90; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Application and supporting documentation and is satisfied that approval of an increase in electrical rates is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 67 (4) of the Act, the Commission approves for PLP amended Electric Tariff Rate Schedules that will pass-through a general rate increase of 1.493 percent for all customers, effective July 1, 1992. 2. The Commission will accept, subject to timely filing, Electric Tariff Rate Schedules amended in accordance with the Application and terms of this Order, effective with electrical consumption on and after July 1, 1992. 3. PLP is to inform customers of the rate increase effective July 1, 1992 and its effect on monthly electricity bills.
