BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chairperson; ) F.C. Leighton, Commissioner; and ) October 25, 1993 E. C. Sleath, Commissioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. On February 26, 1993 BC Gas Utility Ltd. ("BC Gas Utility"), known as BC Gas Inc. prior to July 1, 1993, filed with the Commission its Phase B Rate Design Application ("the Application"), and by Order No. G-15-93 the Commission set the matter down for public hearing; and B. The public hearing into the Application commenced with two regional hearings, on June 28, 1993 in Kamloops, B.C., and June 29, 1993 in Cranbrook, B.C., followed by a hearing in Vancouver, B.c. from July 5 to August 12, 1993; and C. On August 13, 1993, by Order No. G-68-93, the Commission approved the consolidation of the BC Gas Utility's Lower Mainland, Inland and Columbia Divisions effective January 1, 1993, and approved related specific accounting practices; and D. On August 13, 1993, by Order No. G-69-93, the Commission issued a partial Decision on the BC Gas Utility April 30, 1993 Integrated Resource Plan Application and Demand-Side Management Deferral accounts; and E. On September 21, 1993, by Order No. G-83-93, the Commission issued its partial Decision on Industrial Rates effective for the gas contract year commencing November 1, 1993; and F. The Commission has considered the Application and evidence presented at the hearing. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders BC Gas Utility to comply with the directions and conditions incorporated in the Commission's October 25, 1993 Decision issued concurrently with this Order.
