Phases 1, 2 and 3 1994/95 Revenue Requirements Public Hearings and Participant Funding Awards - Order No. 0-117-93 BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) F.C. Leighton, Commissioner ) September 26, 1994 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On May 2, 1994 Phases 1, 2 and 3 of the 1994/95 Revenue Requirements public hearing commenced. The participants to the hearings were advised in advance to submit a budget of costs and expenses to the Commission followed by applications for expenses related to their participation in accordance with the criteria set out in Order No. G-117-93; and B. The Panels of each phase of the hearing discussed the claims, having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No. G-117-93, and provided the awards to be added to the Participant Funding sheets; and C. The maximum award to legal counsel was based on $800 per participation day plus expenses which the Panel felt was a reasonable contribution to legal costs. The maximum award to consultants was based on the fee and expense schedules submitted; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Participant Funding applications and requires BC Gas to pay for such awards as shown below. A breakdown of the cost awards can be found in the Participant Funding Sheet attached as Appendix A to this Order. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: Pursuant to Section 133.1 of the Utilities Commission Act, BC Gas is ordered to reimburse participants to Phases 1, 2 and 3 of the public hearings in the total amount as follows: BC Energy Coalition $45,773.78 Ecology Circle Nil DA TED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this day of September, 1994.
