Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ) October 21, 1994 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On October 6 and 14, 1994 BC Gas Utility Ltd. ("BC Gas") filed with the Commission detailed financial schedules and rates that incorporated the results of Commission Decisions and Orders dated and referenced as follows: June 10, 1994 - G-35-94; June 16, 1994 - G-37-94; August 4, 1994 -G-59-94; and August 12, 1994 - G-60-94; and B. BC Gas also incorporated into the application for changes in rates the hearing costs associated with the public hearings for which the above-noted Decisions were issued; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and approves revisions to Gas Tariff Rate Schedules. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The revisions, including hearing costs, to Gas Tariff Rate Schedules as filed by BC Gas on October 6 and 14, 1994 for the 1994-1995 Revenue Requirements Application are approved. 2. The Commission will accept, subject to timely filing by BC Gas, Gas Tariff Rate Schedules effective January 1, 1994. 3. BC Gas will refund the over collection of 1994 interim rates, with interest, commencing with November 1994 billing cycles. 4. BC Gas will file a revised 1995 Revenue Requirements which incorporates a recalculation of the 1995 rate of return on common equity as ordered in the Commission's Decision dated June 10, 1994. 5. BC Gas will provide all customers with an appropriate notice of explanation of the refund of interim rates along with new rates, effective January 1, 1994.
