Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ) October 21, 1994 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On August 10, 1994 Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited ("PLP") applied to the Commission for approval to amend its Electric Tariff Rate Schedules to allow for the retention of the interim rate increase collected from January 1, 1994 and to confirm the existing rate structure; and B. On June 17, 1994 the Commission issued its Decision and Order No. G-41-94 which approved for West Kootenay Power Ltd., PLP's supplier of electricity, permanent rates for 1994 and 1995 and required WKP to refund to its customers a portion of the interim rates collected since January 1, 1994; and C. The Commission has considered the Application and finds that the interim rates collected in excess of the permanent rates for 1994 should be refunded to PLP's customers. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The interim rate increase, collected by PLP in excess of the permanent rates approved by the Commission for the utility'S supplier WKP, is to be refunded with interest effective immediately. 2. PLP will provide all customers with an appropriate notice of explanation of the rate changes and refund by way of a bill stuffer. 3. The Commission will accept subject, to timely filing by PLP, amended Electric Tariff Rate Schedules approved by this Order.
