Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ) November 9, 1994 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On October 31, 1994 British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority ("B.C. Hydro") applied to the Commission for approval of the supply of power in excess of 45 kVA to Bella Bella Community School Society ("the Society") at Waglisla, B.C., by way of Special Contract allowed for in the Electric Tariff, Terms and Conditions in Rate Zone II, Page B-35; and B. The agreement, known as Electric Tariff Supplement No. 19, will allow B.C. Hydro to supply up to 245 kW of maximum demand under contract for an initial term of four years from January 24, 1994. The agreement requires the Society to pay $22,849, in advance, as a contribution toward the cost of the required facilities; and C. The energy rate for the first 47,000 kW.h per month will be in accordance with Rate Schedule 1255 with the excess consumption charged at the cost of electricity purchased by B.C. Hydro for resale to the Society with such prices subject to annual adjustment on June 1st of each year. The unit price at June 1, 1994 shall be 13.0ยข perkW.h; and D. The Commission has reviewed the agreement and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: The January 24, 1994 Special Contract between B.C. Hydro and the Society, known as Electric Tariff Supplement No. 19, is approved and accepted for filing effective January 24, 1994 for a period of four years, and month-to-month thereafter.
