Jaccard, Chairperson; and L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ORDER WHEREAS: A. On August 28, 1996 Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (lfPNG Winter Seasonal Gas Supply Contracts for the 1996/97 gas contract year between Ocelot Energy Inc. ("Ocelot") and Westcoast Gas Services Inc. ("WGSI") on behalf of PNG, Amoco Canada Petroleum Company Ltd. ("Amoco") and WGSI on behalf of PNG and WGSI; and B. On October 1, 1996 PNG filed additional information in support of its application; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Agreements and is satisfied that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 85.3 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Rules, the Commission approves the following Winter Seasonal Gas Purchase Agreements for PNG: 1. The seasonal supply agreement dated June 26, 1996 between Ocelot and WGSI on behalf of PNG for 5,275 GJ/d for the period of November 1, 1996 through March 31, 1997. 2. The seasonal supply agreement dated July 15, ] 996 between Amoco and WGSI on behalf of PNG for 3,000 GJ/d for the period of November 1, 1996 through March 31, 1997. 3. The seasonal supply agreement dated August 13, 1996 with WGSI for 2,300 GJ/d for the period of December I, 1996 through February 28, 1997.
