BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ) October 30, 1996 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On SeptemberÊ30, 1996 Centra Gas Fort St. John Inc.Ê(ÒCentraÊGasÓ) applied to the Commission for approval of a Tariff Supplement to Small Industrial Service Rate No.Ê10Ê(ÒSIS-10Ó) for transportation service to the Petro Canada Inc.Ê(ÒPetro CanÓ) compressor station on the Baldonnel portion of its system at a fixed rate for five years commencing AugustÊ9, 1996; and B. On OctoberÊ23, 1996 Centra Gas provided the Commission with a response to an information request which indicated that service to Petro Canada at the filed rates provides a positive revenue contribution and that the customer had a competitive alternative to gas service from Centra Gas; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and supporting documentation and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for Centra Gas the Tariff Supplement to Rate ScheduleÊSIS-10 service to PetroÊCanÕs compressor station at 04-09-83-17W6M at rates of $3,200Êper month plus $0.052 per gigajoule, and Original pageÊ61a, effective AugustÊ9, 1996 for a period of 5Êyears from the effective date. 2.
