Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) August 29, 1996 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On April 28, 1996 the Commission issued Order No. G-36-96 and its Reasons for Decision on the West Kootenay Power Ltd. ("WKP") Brilliant Energy Supply Contracts; and B. On August 2, 1996 the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre ("CAC (B.C.) et al") filed an application for participant funding cost award; and C. An additional 2 days for preparation time toward legal fees was approved by the Panel. The contribution toward legal fees would therefore be a total of 5 days, made up of 3 negotiation days and 2 preparation days, to be paid at the rate of $800 per day; and D. The Panel discussed the claim having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No. G-117-93. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 133.1 (1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to CAC (B.C.) et al in the total amount of $13,864.53. 2.
