Barr, Deputy Chair ) and Acting Chair ) May 1, 1997 K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. The Commission, by Order No.ÊG-21-97, approved for Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (ÒPNGÓ) its 1997 Revenue Requirements by way of a Negotiated Settlement Agreement; and B. On FebruaryÊ24, 1997 the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre (ÒBCPIACÓ) applied for a participant assistance cost award for its participation at the PNG proceedings; and C. The Commission has determined that BCPIACÕs participation in the PNG 1997 Revenue Requirements Application negotiated settlement requires reimbursement in accordance with Commission approved guidelines; and D. The Commission has discussed the claim having regard to the criteria and rates as set out in Order No.ÊG-103-96. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to SectionÊ118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to BCPIAC in the amount of $14,108.74. 2.
