Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ORDER WHEREAS: A. On August 20, ] 996 the British Columbia Energy Coalition ("BCEC") made application for reconsideration of the cost award set forth in Order No. F-8-96 dated August 1, 1996; and B. In its application the BCEC requested reconsideration of the funds awarded relating to preparation costs; and C. The Panel determined that in this proceeding, where the actual number of hearings days are few, the ratio of preparation days to hearing days may be greater than for hearings of longer length; and D. The Panel discussed the application for reconsideration having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No. G-I ]7-93. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 133.1 (1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission orders that the cost award for BCEC be increased by $4,960. The afore-mentioned award is to be paid by British Columbia and Hydro Authority.
