The Commission by Order No.ÊG-85-97, approved for BCÊGas Utility Ltd.Ê("BCÊGas") its 1998-2000 Revenue Requirements by way of a Negotiated Settlement Agreement; and B. On JulyÊ24, 1997 the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre ("BCPIAC") and on AugustÊ7, 1997, the Association for the Advancement of Sustainable Energy Policy ("AASEP") applied for participant assistance cost awards for their participation in the BCÊGas proceeding; and C. The Commission has determined that participation by the BCPIAC and AASEP in the BCÊGas negotiated settlement proceeding requires reimbursement in accordance with Commission approved guidelines; and D. The Commission has discussed the claim having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No.ÊG-103-96. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to SectionÊ118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to BCPIAC in the amount of $34,999.76 and to AASEP in the amount of $16,421.50. 2. BCÊGas is directed to reimburse BCPIAC and AASEP in the total amounts awarded in a timely fashion.
