Barr, Deputy Chair ) and Acting Chair ) November 20, 1997 K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) F.C. Leighton, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On October 15, 1997 Federated Pipe Lines (Western) Ltd. ("Federated") filed with the Commission an application for approval of Tolls on its new 9.3Êkm crude oil pipeline from the Sunset Prairie Battery to a tie-in point with its Taylor to Kamloops crude oil pipeline at Milepost 12.7; and B. Federated and Imperial Oil Resources Limited ("Imperial Oil") have agreed to Tariff No.ÊS-01 on the Sunset Prairie Pipeline which provides for a toll charge of $28,452 per month effective JulyÊ1, 1997. Imperial Oil, by letter dated NovemberÊ4, 1997, informed the Commission of its agreement with the tolls; and C. The Commission has considered the Application and finds that approval is required. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to SectionÊ44 of the Pipeline Act, the Commission approves Tariff No.ÊS-01 for the Sunset Prairie Pipeline effective JulyÊ1, 1997. The approved toll is subject to review by the Commission following receipt of a complaint by shippers on the pipeline. 2. Federated is to deliver a copy of this Order and Tariff No.ÊS-01 to all shippers on the pipeline. 3. In future applications for tariff revisions on the Sunset Prairie Pipeline, Federated is to provide a copy of the shipper's letter of support for the tariff revision.
