On June 6, 1997 Princeton Light and Power Company, LimitedÊ(ÒPLPÓ) applied for Commission approval to renew and amend its long-term debt credit agreement, pursuant to SectionÊ50(2) of the Utilities Commission ActÊ(ÒtheÊActÓ); and B. The June 3, 1997 credit arrangements with the Canadian Imperial Bank of CommerceÊ(ÒCIBCÓ) provide for the renewal of the fixed-term, fixed-rate (ÒFTFRÓ) portion of the credit facilities in the amount of $1,000,000.00 for three years at an interest rate of 7.7Êpercent effective JuneÊ3, 1997; and C. The Commission has considered the application and supporting material and finds that approval of the loan restructuring with CIBC appropriate. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to SectionÊ50(2) of the Act, the Commission approves for PLP the FTFR credit facilities with CIBC in the amount of $1,000,000.00 at an interest rate of 7.7Êpercent for 3Êyears effective JuneÊ3, 1997.
