Hall, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On February 27, 1997 and by Order No.ÊG-21-97, the Commission approved for Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (ÒPNGÓ) a Negotiated Settlement of its 1997 Revenue Requirements; and B. The Negotiated Settlement allowed the issue of shared services costs between Westcoast Energy Inc. (ÒWEIÓ) and PNG to be dealt with through a workshop and/or a written/oral public hearing process once the report on shared services had been finalized by Coopers and Lybrand; and C. The Coopers and Lybrand report was sent to PNG, Commission staff and Intervenors on FebruaryÊ14, 1997, which was followed by a Workshop on MarchÊ13, 1997. The Workshop participants agreed that a written public hearing process would follow; and D. The Commission concluded that a written process on PNG's shared services with WEI was required and issued Order No.ÊG-33-97 setting down a timetable indicating, among other things, that participants were required to make their written submissions on or before Friday, MayÊ16, 1997; and E. PNG responded, in a late filing, to information requests and put forth that the deadline for submissions be extended in view of the late filing; and .../2
2 F. The Commission concludes that the date for receipt of written submissions to the information responses should be extended. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders a revision to the timetable set out in Order No.ÊG-33-97 as follows: 1. Participants are required to make their written submissions, if any, to the responses to information requests on or before Thursday, May 22, 1997. Reply evidence to the submissions is to be filed on or before Wednesday, June 4, 1997. 2. Following receipt of all submissions the Commission will issue its decision on the issue of WEI/PNG shared services costs.
