Ostergaard, Chair ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chair ) March 31, 1999 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On March 26, 1999, BC Gas Utility Ltd. (“BC Gas”) filed with the Commission the renewal of a natural gas storage agreement with Unocal Canada Limited (“Unocal”) for the 1999/2000 storage contract year; and B. The renewal of Unocal’s Storage Agreement GS-1083 extends the existing contract, which expired March 31, 1999, with an annual pricing redetermination for a one-year term covering the period April 1, 1999 through March 31, 2000; and C. The Commission has reviewed the filing and finds that the Unocal natural gas storage agreement is in accordance with the Utilities Commission Act (“the Act”). NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 71 of the Act and the Rules for Energy Supply Contracts, the Commission accepts for filing for BC Gas the renewal of Natural Gas Storage Agreement GS-1083 with Unocal, with an annual pricing redetermination for the period April 1, 1999 through March 31, 2000.
