Leighton, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On November 2, 1999, British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“B.C. Hydro”) applied to the Commission for approval of Electric Tariff Supplements No. 49A, 49B, 49C and 49D, Special Contracts with the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority (“GVTA”) effective and dated April 1, 1999; and B. The GVTA Special Contract Tariff Supplements replace 1975 and 1976 Service Agreements with the Department of Highways for service at the Knight Street Bridge from four separate substation locations; and C. The GVTA Special Contracts have been synchronized to adopt a restricted period of use between the hours of 1600 and 1900 from November to the end of February; and D. The Commission has reviewed the B.C. Hydro filing and finds that it should be approved. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves for B.C. Hydro the Special Contracts with the GVTA identified as Electric Tariff Supplements No. 49A, 49B, 49C and 49D, effective and dated April 1, 1999.
