Leighton, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On August 24, 1999, British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“B.C. Hydro”) applied to the Commission for an amendment to the Rate Schedule 1848 – Real Time Pricing (“RTP”) Supplementary Agreement that would permit customers to give notice of termination of their agreements prior to the end of a billing period; and B. B.C. Hydro advised the Commission that changes to their new billing system will allow customers to terminate the RTP program effective the date that written notice to terminate was received; and C. The Commission has reviewed the amendment and finds that a change to the termination clause of the RTP Supplementary Agreement should be approved. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for B.C. Hydro, effective September 2, 1999, an amendment to Clause iv of the Rate Schedule 1848 – RTP Supplementary Agreement that will allow customers to terminate their agreements effective on the date that written notice to terminate was received. 2. B.C. Hydro is to notify all RTP customers of the amendment to the RTP Supplementary Agreement. 3. Subject to timely filing, the Commission will accept the amended Rate Schedule 1848 – RTP Supplementary Agreement approved by this Order.
