Clemenhagen, Commissioner ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) N.F. Nicholls, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On September 27, 2000, Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. (“Centra Gas”) filed with the Commission a Gas Transaction Confirmation with Petro-Canada Oil and Gas (“Petro-Canada”) dated September 13, 2000, for a baseload purchase of 5,000 GJ/day for the period November 1, 2000 to October 31, 2001 (the “Gas Transaction Confirmation”), in accordance with its 2000/01 Gas Contracting Plan; and B. The Centra Gas filing also included a Letter Agreement with Petro-Canada dated September 13, 2000; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Centra Gas filing and is satisfied that the contracts are in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Rules for Energy Supply Contracts, the Commission accepts for filing for Centra Gas the Gas Transaction Confirmation and the September 13, 2000 Letter Agreement with Petro-Canada.
