On July 24, 2000, Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited (“PLP”) applied for Commission approval to amend and renew its operating credit facilities and long-term debt credit agreement, pursuant to Section 49 of the Utilities Commission Act (“the Act”); and B. The July 4, 2000 Credit Agreement with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (“CIBC”) provides for a transfer from the short-term operating loan facilities of $477,902 to the long-term portfolio and to refinance its Credit B facility from 7.70 percent to 7.85 percent for a five-year term and a ten-year amortization effective July 1, 2000; and C. The Commission has considered the application and supporting material and finds that approval of the loan restructuring agreement with CIBC is appropriate. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Sections 49 and 50 of the Act, the Commission approves for PLP amendments to its credit facilities with CIBC in accordance with the July 4, 2000 executed Business Credit Agreement.
