On August 14, 2002, the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre (“BCPIAC”) applied for a participant assistance cost award for its participation in the Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (“PNG”) 2002 Revenue Requirements proceeding; and B. The Commission has determined that BCPIAC’s participation in the PNG proceeding warrants reimbursement in accordance with the Commission’s approved guidelines; and C. The Commission has reviewed the application with regard to the participant assistance criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-23-01. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to BCPIAC in the amount of $25,489.27 for its participation in the PNG proceeding. 2. PNG is directed to reimburse BCPIAC for the total amount awarded in a timely fashion.
