Hobbs, Chair ) R.D. Deane, Commissioner ) September 10, 2003 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. The Commission, by Order No. G-51-03 approved the Negotiated Settlement for the Terasen Gas Inc. (formerly BC Gas Utility Ltd.) (“Terasen Gas”) 2004-2007 Multi-Year Performance-Based Rate Plan, pursuant to Sections 58 and 61 of the Utilities Commission Act (“the Act”); and B. On August 8, 2003, the Heating Ventilating and Cooling Industry Association (“HVCI”) applied for a Participant Assistance Cost Award for its participation in the Terasen Gas Application; and C. On August 21, 2003, The British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre (“BCPIAC”) applied for a Participant Assistance Cost Award for its participation in the Terasen Gas Application; and D. The Commission has reviewed the applications for participant assistance with regard to the criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-23-01. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Act, the Commission awards funds to the following applicants for their participation in the Terasen Gas 2004-2007 Multi-Year Performance-Based Rate Plan proceeding: HVCI $10,259.99 BCPIAC $26,010.58 . . . /2
