(“Terasen Whistler”) applied to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (“the Commission”) for approval of its 2004 and 2005 revenue requirements (the “Application”); and B. The Application proposes to increase the Basic Charge per month to $10.00, increase the propane commodity charge from $12.522/GJ to $13.930/GJ, and to decrease Rider A from $2.493/GJ to $0.376/GJ, all effective January 1, 2004; and C. The Application also proposes to decrease the propane commodity charge to $13.540/GJ, and to decrease Rider A to zero, both effective January 1, 2005; and D. Terasen Whistler requested that the Application be dealt with through the Commission’s Negotiated Settlement Process; and E. The Commission has reviewed the Application and requires that interim rates and a regulatory process to deal with the Application be established. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves Terasen Whistler rates as interim, effective January 1, 2004. 2. A Negotiated Settlement Process with respect to the Terasen Whistler Application will commence at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 8, 2004 in Whistler, B.C. at The Coast Whistler Hotel. 3. Terasen Whistler will publish, in display-ad format, the attached Notice of Negotiated Settlement Process (Appendix A), in local community newspapers in Whistler, B.C. by Friday, November 21, 2003. . . . /2
