The Commission, by Order No. C-3-03 and Reasons for Decision, issued a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (“CPCN”) for the South Okanagan Supply Reinforcement Project and British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority’s application for approval of amendments to the General Wheeling Agreement and the Power Purchase Agreement for Aquila Networks Canada (British Columbia) Ltd. (“Aquila”); and B. On March 20, 2003, the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre (“BCPIAC”) applied for a cost award for its participation in the Aquila CPCN Application; and C. The Commission has reviewed BCPIAC’s application for a cost award with regard to the criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-23-01. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds in the amount of $4,392.81 to BCPIAC for its participation in the Aquila CPCN Application for the South Okanagan Supply Reinforcement Project and the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority application for approval of amendments to the General Wheeling Agreement and the Power Purchase Agreement. 2. Aquila is directed to reimburse BCPIAC for the total amount awarded in a timely fashion. DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this First day of May 2003.
