On June 24, 2003, Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited (“PLP”) applied to the Commission for approval of revisions and increases to the Service and Extension Charges that are contained in the Companys filed Electric Tariff, B.C.U.C. No.5, to become effective September 1, 2003; and B. On June 24, 2003, PLP also applied to the Commission for approval of a new commercial rate class to be called General Service Seasonal Rates, Schedule CSXGS”, to become effective September 1, 2003. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Sections 60 and 61 of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission orders as follows: 1. A written public hearing process be established according to the Regulatory Timetable attached as Appendix A to this Order. 2. PLP must provide a copy of this Order no later than Friday, July 11, 2003 to all previous Intervenors and Interested Parties from PLP proceedings since 1999. PLP must also notify its customers of the applied-for new rate class and changes to existing service and extension charges by posting a notice of the application and the regulatory timetable, to be reviewed with Commission staff in advance of posting. The notice should be posted in the local community paper, various community centres and through other community resources as appropriate. . . ./2

Intervenors and Interested Parties are to inform the Commission in writing, by Thursday, July 17, 2003, of their intention to actively intervene in the proceeding or become Interested Parties. PLP is to provide all Registered Intervenors with copies of the Application, all correspondence and filed documentation. PLP is to provide all Interested Parties with copies of the Application and all Orders issued. 4. Commission staff will submit initial written information requests to PLP by Friday, July 18, 2003. 5. Information requests from Intervenors about issues concerning the Application are to be filed with other Intervenors, the Commission and PLP by Friday, July 25, 2003. 6. PLP shall respond to all information requests no later than Friday, August 1, 2003. 7. Intervenors may submit written submissions on the Application to other Intervenors, the Commission and to PLP by Friday, August 8, 2003. 8. PLP shall reply to the written submissions of Intervenors by Friday, August 15, 2003 after which time the Commission will make its decision on the Application.
