Ostergaard, Chair K.L. Hall, Commissioner R.H. Hobbs, Commissioner O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On June 25, 2003, Aquila Networks Canada (British Columbia) Ltd. (“Aquila”) applied to the Commission for approval of amendments to Rate Schedule 90 – Energy Management Service regarding a Christmas 2003 Light-up campaign that would apply to the Utility’s municipal institutional customers in its service area; and B. The amendments to the PowerSense program will allow Aquila to provide displays of Light Emitting Diode (“LED”) Christmas lights at high-profile municipal facilities and fire halls at no cost to customers. The LED DSM program is expected to cost Aquila $70,000; and C. The Commission has reviewed the application and finds that it should be approved. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves for Aquila amendments to Rate Schedule 90 - Energy Management Service that provides a number of high-profile municipal customers, at no cost, in Aquila’s service area with LED Christmas Lights that will cost the Utility approximately $70,000 for the DSM initiative.
