Hobbs, Chair R.J. Milbourne, Commissioner December 24, 2004 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. British Columbia Transmission Corporation (“BCTC”) filed, on August 3, 2004, an application for an Open Access Transmission Tariff (“the OATT Application”) pursuant to Sections 58, 59 and 60 of the Utilities Commission Act (“the Act”); and B. British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“BC Hydro”) filed, on August 4, 2004, an application to establish rates, terms and conditions for Interconnected Operations Services (“the IOS Application”) to be offered to BCTC once it becomes responsible for offering and providing transmission services through the OATT; and C. Order No. G-81-04, dated August 20, 2004, directed that the BC Hydro IOS Application will be heard at the same time as the BCTC OATT Application and that there will be one record for both Applications; and D. Order No. G-81-04 established a Regulatory Timetable for the Applications leading to an oral public hearing to commence on Tuesday, January 4, 2005; and E. By letter dated October 5, 2004 BCTC requested an amendment to the Regulatory Timetable established by Order No. G-81-04, including an extension to the time in which to answer information requests; and F. By letter dated October 6, 2004, the Joint Industry Electricity Steering Committee supported the request of BCTC and requested a further amendment to the Regulatory Timetable; and G. Order No. G-92-04 amended the Regulatory Timetable; and …/2
2 H. During Pre-hearing Conference Number 2, the Commission Panel ruled on rebuttal evidence and indicated that rebuttal evidence, if any, should be filed by January 17 I. The Commission Panel has determined that, because of a scheduling conflict with another proceeding, a further amendment to the Regulatory timetable is required. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders that the Regulatory Timetable for the BCTC OATT and BC Hydro IOS Applications established by Order No. G-81-04 and amended by Order G-92-04, is further amended, as is the date for the filing of any rebuttal evidence.
