Kelsey, Commissioner August 11, 2005 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On May 31, 2005 the Commission, by Order No. G-52-05, issued its Decision on FortisBC Inc.’s (“FortisBC”) 2005 Revenue Requirements Application, the 2005-2024 System Development Plan and the 2005 Resource Plan; and B. On June 17, 2005, the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre (“BCPIAC”) submitted a bill of costs on behalf of the BC Old Age Pensioners’ Organization (“BCOAPO”) for its participation in the proceeding; and C. The Commission, by Order No. F-10-05, awarded funds to BCOAPO/BCPIAC in the amount of $62,386.20, which was the original budget estimate for the costs that would be incurred in the proceeding; and D. On August 4, 2005, BCOAPO/BCPIAC requested the Commission to reconsider its application for funding and the increased costs that were incurred as a result of higher than expected consultant expenses; and E. The Commission has reviewed BCOAPO/BCPIAC request for reconsideration for funding and finds that the additional costs incurred are reasonable and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission, pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, awards additional funds to BCOAPO/BCPIAC in the amount of $23,668.21 for their participation in the FortisBC proceeding.
