Anderson, Commissioner December 5, 2006 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On August 28, 2006, British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“BC Hydro”) applied to the Commission for approval of a set of residential time of use (“TOU”) rates to be offered under the Conservation Research Initiative (“CRI”) TOU Program on an optional basis; and B. The Commission reviewed the Application by way of a workshop and negotiated settlement process and on September 29, 2006, approved BC Hydros revised application by way of Order No. G-120-06; and C. On September 27, 2006, ESVI Energy Solutions for Vancouver Island (“ESVI”) applied for a cost award for its participation in the proceeding; and D. On October 11, 2006, the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre (“BCPIAC”) submitted a bill of costs on behalf of the BC Old Age Pensioners Organization et al. (“BCOAPO”) for its participation in the proceeding; and E. On October 31, 2006, the Peace Valley Environmental Association (“PVEA”) applied for a cost award for its participation in the proceeding; and F. The Commission has reviewed the applications for cost awards with regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No. G-15-04. . . ./2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to the following applicants for their participation in BC Hydros CRI-TOU Application. Applicant ESVI BCOAPO/BCPIAC PVEA 2. BC Hydro is directed to reimburse the above-noted participants for the total amounts awarded in a timely fashion.
