On September 4, 2007, the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre submitted an application for Participant Assistance/Cost Award (“PACA”) funding in the amount of $1,908.00 including GST on behalf of its client, the BC Old Age Pensioners Organization et al. (“BCOAPO”); and B. On September 5, 2007, the Commission requested Terasen Energy Marketing Inc. (“TEM”) to provide comments on the BCOAPO’s request for a PACA award; and C. On September 18, 2007 TEM replied to the Commission that it did not oppose the PACA application; and D. The Commission Panel has reviewed the PACA application with regard to the criteria and rates set out in the Guidelines in Commission Order No. G-15-04 and has determined that the requested funding should be approved for the BCOAPO. …/2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to BCOAPO in the amount of $1,908.00 including GST. 2. TEM is directed provide the PACA in the amount of $1,908.00 including GST to the BCOAPO in a timely manner.
