The British Columbia Utilities Commission (the “Commission”) by Order G‐157‐08 dated October 24, 2008, accepted the findings and recommendations of the Inquiry Report filed by Mr. W. J. Grant on October 28, 2008; and B. Pursuant to the Code of Conduct for Gas Marketers, the Commission cancelled the Agreement between Universal Energy Corporation (“Universal Energy”) and Mrs. Kitchen on the same basis as if the cancellation had occurred during the normal ten day cancellation period and ordered the costs of the Commission in the amount of $4,990.90 incurred for the services of the Inquiry Officer to be recovered from Universal Energy; and C. By letter dated December 8, 2008, Universal Energy filed with the Commission a request for a review of Order G‐157‐08 (“Reconsideration Application”) citing error in findings and fact; and D. The Commission Panel has reviewed the Reconsideration Application by Universal Energy and the criteria regarding the reasonable basis for allowing reconsideration, and has concluded that the request for reconsideration should proceed. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission allows the Universal Energy Reconsideration Application. 2. The Commission will issue a further Order detailing the process to be undertaken and timing once this has been determined.
