Rhodes, Commissioner A.J. Pullman, Commissioner O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On October 16, 2009 the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (“ICBC”) submitted to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (“the Commission”) an application for three housekeeping amendments to the Basic Insurance Tariff (“the Application”); and B. For the first amendment, ICBC proposes to replace the term ‘month’ with ‘30 days’ in Section 2.K.2.1; and C. For the second amendment, ICBC proposes to replace the term ‘owner’ with ‘each owner’ who drives the vehicle and to add the term renter or lessee who drives the vehicle to five of the experience‐based rate classes; and D. For the third amendment, ICBC proposes to add a greater than 5,000 kg gross vehicle weight specification to the Vehicle Use table for Woodchip delivery vehicles, Rate Class 111; and E. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that its approval is warranted. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves the Application for the housekeeping amendments to the Basic Insurance Tariff, effective January 1, 2010.
