A Filing by Terasen Gas Inc.

for Approval of a Storage Agreement between

Terasen Gas Inc. and Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC

O  R  D  E  R

 

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On August 26, 2010, the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission), by Letter L-62-10, accepted the Terasen Gas Inc. (Terasen Gas) 2010/11 Annual Gas Contracting Plan (ACP);

 

B.      On November 22, 2010, Terasen Gas applied to the Commission for approval to replace an expiring Aitken Creek storage agreement with a new Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC Agreement (the Agreement);

 

C.      Terasen Gas asked that the details of the filing be kept confidential for reasons of commercial sensitivity as described in the filing;

 

D.      The Commission reviewed the Terasen Gas filing and is satisfied that the Agreement between Terasen Gas and Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC is appropriate and consistent with the ACP.

 

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Commission’s Rules for Natural Gas Energy Supply Contracts, the Commission accepts for filing the executed copy of the Agreement between Terasen Gas Inc. and Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC.  The Commission will keep confidential the Agreement identified in this Order due to its commercially sensitive nature.
